What are Cooling Wraps?

During the treatment the Exel’s unique cryogenic formula is applied to either the abdomen, legs, arms or a combination or 2 areas and then covered tightly with a comfortable plastic film. The wrap can be safely left overnight for over 6 hours for even better results by allowing an even longer time to absorb the active gel.
How do wraps work?
The highly concentrated active ingredients, once applied, rapidly cool the skin to create an environment to induce the body to react by warming itself to regulate the body temperature. What are the active ingredients?
Centella Asiatica Extract: A powerful herb used in traditional Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for its antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Centella Asiatica being rich in antioxidants targets free radicals in the skin and encourages the growth of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen synthesis. The collagen boosting and anti-inflammatory properties effectively diminish the appearance of stretch marks, tighten and firm the skin and increases elasticity. Centella Asiatica also improves the appearance of cellulite and loose skin, which increases elasticity for a firmer, smoother body while minimising the dimply and lumpy appearance on thighs, buttocks and upper arms. Lymphatic and blood circulation is also stimulated, repairing damage to veins allowing improvement to spider veins and relief for tired legs and feet.
Menthol: Menthol has a natural analgesic attribute and when applied topically it relieves pain, muscle tension and itchiness. It increases blood flow and dilates blood vessels allowing the actives to penetrate deeper into the skin.
Camphor: It is found in the wood of the camphor laurel tree. Applied topically it relieves muscular pain and itches. It increases local blood flow and acts as a counterirritant, which reduces pain and swelling causing irritation.
